Ukraine conducts no investigations “on the orders” of other countries, President Volodymyr Zelensky declared on September 30. In answering questions of reporters whether Ukraine has already launched or plans to launch an investigation into the “Biden case”, Zelensky had this to say, “I can repeat once again. I understand that it is an information bomb. But let me remind you that we have a lot of other criminal cases to handle”. The President has added that Ukrainian law-inforcement agencies are independent and ready to investigate any case if the law has been broken. “Frankly speaking, we do nothing at somebody’s command. And I can tell you  again that we are an independent country which means that we are not going to take orders from anyone. We obey only one order: to serve Ukraine”.
