This time, patients and the staff of maternity house No.2 became victims of forced deportation.

Russian occupants forcefully moved more than 70 medical workers and patients of the maternity house No.2 in the Livoberezhny district of Mariupol. That’s just one of the numerous facts of cynical deportation of people whom Russia takes to its territory. Earlier, occupants deported the staff and patients of city hospital No.1; there were some 600 residents of Mariupol there.

There are reports about some 20,000 residents of Mariupol who were brought to the territory of aggressor country. Russians take the IDs from Ukrainian citizens and send them to the so-called filtration camps. Then, the deportees are sent to Russian towns located far away. The principle of division and reasons for such transportation of Ukrainians are not certain yet.

Mariupol mayor Vadym Boichenko claims that the crimes committed by Russians against all human rights could be compared with the actions of the Nazis in the Second World War.

“We will not abandon a single Mariupol citizen who was forcefully moved to the Russian territory. Under the command of Donetsk regional authorities, we create the database of deported residents of the city, and develop an effective mechanism of return of our fellow citizens. We will do everything to get these people home”, Boichenko said.
