Dozens of photos in social networks make an incontrovertible evidence of crimes of the russian army that it commits on the territory of Ukraine: murders of civilians, including children, bombing of cities and acts of looting. ‘Rich’ russians loot houses in the temporarily occupied territories, living and dead people, schools, museums, post offices, little and big enterprises; these things became regular and massive, which clearly proves the degree of degradation of the russian society, its immorality and cynicism. A common dog kennel painted in grey that was loaded into an occupant combat vehicle with the Nazi letter Z on it (see photo) became arguably the brightest symbol of russia that used its high culture» to show off on the world stage, hiding its rotten insides behind the curtain.

We, Ukrainians, and the rest of the world, are shocked by the pettiness and greed of Russian occupants. It seems that they came here with their missile launchers and tanks to loot, loot and loot some more. It’s hard to believe but the fact remains: the list of goods looted by russian marauders includes women’s pads, shower gels and shampoos. Showing on the camera the contents of a bag full of intimate care items that the occupants failed to move to «rich» russia, Ukrainian soldier sarcastically says: «Someone decided to indulge his wife with exotic goods!». The other soldier filmed a video of robbed and destroyed Bucha, where pieces of women underwear were scattered in the streets. «The occupants were on the run and they lost it. They could not take it home», he said.

A typical representative of the russian army of marauders is Lieutenant of russian armed forces Denis Vladimirovich Horovenko who ended up in captivity.

He serves as commander of platoon of mechanized company of military unit No.71718. He was born in Mayskiy settlement, Mayiskiy district of Kabardino-Balkaria (russia) on April 12, 2000. He received his passport in the local department of russian Interior Ministry in Kabardino-Balkaria on July 8, 2020. This officer also looted someone else’s house. His trophies included a set of used lipsticks, a nail polish, golden earrings and a golden ring, golden and silver chains and crosses, hairpins, about a dozen cell phones, Ukrainian passports and two kilograms of Soviet coins from someone else’s collection.

Residents of one of the villages of Kyiv region that were released from the russian occupants show their surprise and emotions, telling how russian troops stole everything they could put their hand on. «They put out a sleeping bag, cut the wire and took the coffee maker», Volodymyr V. says. «They took everything. During the first days of occupation, they marched on (good Lord, how much diesel did they have?), playing music, Oleg Gazmanov’s songs. They were so glad they were dancing. They took parade uniforms with them; they thought they were going to change clothes and march down Khreshchatyk in Kyiv. When they faced the lack of diesel, they started to tow them. In the morning, they hop on their tanks and move forward, and in the evening, they come back with their trawls loaded with power tillers, lawn mowers and chainsaws. When they retreated, they hopped on their APCs like crickets. They loaded their cars with looted stuff, and sat on the top of their vehicles. They covered themselves with the blankets that they stole; someone was covered in the red one, someone in the blue one. And so they retreated - on the top of their vehicles. They took all we had. They even took the buses from the bus station. There were some wooden bars that were supposed to go to Europe for export. They took even these bars and loaded them in their trucks».

Russian occupants sell the looted goods in Belarus where they retreated to. They also use Internet. A marauder listed a Joma T-shirt of Ukraine’s national football team on Avito on April 3. The writing under the photo says: «color blue, size 46 (S). Price RUR 3,700». Marauder does not hesitate to add that «the T-shirt is totally new, taken as a trophy near Brovary». As they say, there is no style in a bad way.
