China's army is one of the most secretive in the world. Most of the photos are from parades only

Allies are enemies, who have a common enemy (Folk Chinese wisdom).

They discussed cooperation aimed at the achievement of peace in the world.
«Crisis in Ukraine is not what we want to see», – the Chinese leader mentioned, as stated by Ukrinform with reference to Xinhua.

The Press Secretary of the White House Jen Psaki during the briefing after the conservation of the Presidents of the US and China mentioned that Washington is worried because of the possible assistance of the Chinese People’s Republic to Russia, who violently attack Ukrainian cities and peaceful population». Psaki mentioned: “The United States will monitor the actions of the official Pekin, but its sayings”.

These negotiations were planned after the meeting in Rome on the 14th of March between National Security Advisor Jake Sullivan and Senior Advisor on External Policy of China Yang Jiechi.
Before this, Kremlin, feeling the failure of its military and economic machine, asked for the assistance of China. The Financial Times has informed about this with the reference to the US source. Then the White House gave a clear message that it will reach strictly at the provision of weapons to the Russian Federation during the war in Ukraine.

On the 15th of March, the Advisor of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Chinese People’s Republic Jao Litsyan conducted the press conference, where he was asked several times if it is true that Moscow has asked for military support to Pekin. He referenced the Press Secretary of Putin Dmytry Peskov, who rejected it and blames the US for the dissemination of false information.

«We persistently ask the US not to damage the legal rights and interests of China in the relations with Russia. China and Russia will continue normal economic and trade cooperation in the spirit of mutual respect, equity, and mutual benefits», – the Advisor of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Chinese People’s Republic mentioned. By the way, China officially did not blame the attack of the Russian Federation on Ukraine.

It is clear that if China’s People’s Republic will support the Russian Federation with weapons and economically, the war at the territory of Ukraine, who at present fights its independence from the Russian occupants with the support of the Anti-Putin international coalition, will get a completely another status.

If China will respond to the «SOS» of the Kremlin (as we all know there is no smoke without fire) to refill the Russian military arsenal, first of all, to continue the war in Ukraine, at present China respond very diplomatically to this. This is Chinese wisdom! By the way, this situation is well characterized by one of the sayings: «Allies are enemies, who have a common enemy»...

The situation itself does not have any precedents, because for the Russian Federation for decades Pekin was a user and competitor in the international military market. However, in conditions of the strictest sanctions and huge losses in military machines, the military-defense complex of the Russian Federation physically will not be able in short terms to restore combat power of the Russian army at the level before the 24th of January 2022. These were the conclusions of military experts of the informational-consulting company «Defense Express».

All these well-advertised Russian examples of weapons and machines, which belong to the category “no analogs", did not pass the test in the combats in Ukraine. This is confirmed not only by the thousands of units of the destroyed machinery by the Ukrainian army and civilians but also a huge number of just left by Russians machines because of the low technical quality, absence of fuel and logistics of modernized tanks, new fighting machines, antiaircraft – rocket guns, etc.

As US media mentioned, the Russian Federation seemed to ask the armored machines, rocket ammunition for antiaircraft defense, logistical machines, and even food.

However, as analysts of the Polish defense media  defence24 mentioned, in reality, Moscow is quite limited in what, it can ask Pekin and to do this in the two perspectives:

• Short-term one, which envisages the purchase of equipment, machinery, and ammunition, which are needed for Russia already now and which they can use immediately without additional training;
• Long-term – to find a replacement to the Western spare parts: from electronics to usual bearings.

Polish analysts state: Russian troops, which fight in Ukraine, clearly have problems with connection and lose at the field of radio-electric fight, where Ukraine uses the assistance of NATO or at least the US.

Taking about the production of electronics, China as a world state has quite modern solutions to provide connection. Although it might have the systems, which are not more advanced than Russian ones, they possibly were not studied by Ukrainians well enough to encrypt or frequencies used.

At the beginning of the Russian large-scale invasion into Ukraine, many western military experts predict a quick victory for the Russian army, and the advantage of the Russian troops in the air was mentioned as one of the main reasons for it. However, one of the biggest surprises appeared to be an inability of the air fighters and bombing fighters of the Air-space forces of the Russian Federation to keep this initiative or develop significant military support from air to further invasion of its land forces. Later the analysts concluded that the “unfightable army” of Moscow feels the lack of high accuracy ammunition for aviation». The fact that bomber planes Су-34, multi-purpose Су-30 and low-flying attack planes often come to fight with hanging classical bombs and untargeted rockets instead of highly accurate weapons, is confirmed even by Russian propaganda movies.

In addition, our anti-air defense forces knocked down very well in quality and quantity Russian planes. The absence of avian high accuracy ammunition (for strikes from a safe distance), the storage of which according to some data was planned for two weeks of war maximum, promoted the increases of the losses of Russian military planes.

At the same time, the China People’s Republic owns 73 planes Су-30 and 24 planes Су-35С, for which high accuracy ammunition of different types is already purchased and production of some of it is already localized in China. Most probably Russia is very interested in them.

Analysts do not exclude the possibility that Russians could purchase intelligence military drones from China. They are more advanced compared with the ones, which are owned by Russia. However, the terms of training for operators of such drones are from a few months to half of the year. The supply of any type of military equipment, which is absent in the Russian army, requires significant training.

However, at present, it is not clear how these negotiations will end and if Pekin will agree to direct large-scale support to the Russian Federation. One can exclude that it can be provided in secret because as soon as “insider” publications appeared in the US, this has caused a sharp collapse of the value of actions of Chinese companies. Besides, a question raises – how the Russian Federation will pay to the Chinese military shop now when its economy is almost at the default level due to international sanctions. As the Chinese proverb says: «Hungary mouse can eat a cat».
